John and Alexios Touloupis are the co-founders of Atlas Ventures and hosts of the web series Green New World. The show highlights the latest innovations in sustainable technology around the world. While the planet combats climate change, we must look for carbon-neutral, long-term alternative sources of food, water, products, and energy.
The Touloupis brothers are creating an entertaining, engaging platform to discuss the innovations of tomorrow. In January of 2020 (pre-COVID 19), the duo ventured to the United Arab Emirates to attend Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
They wanted to know why such an oil-rich country was investing in sustainable technology.
At the conference, the brothers met with sustainable technology companies ranging from atmospheric water generators, beautifully designed Italian solar panels, Japanese carbon capture technology, intelligent waste management systems, and vertical farming of the future.
Through discussions with locals and exploring the streets of the UAE, the Touloupis brothers discovered a country with a vision for the future.
Currently, there are long term plans for developing Green New World into a full-scale travel show. We will explore sustainable technology in geographic and culturally diverse locations around the world.
So in the meantime due to the global pandemic, Atlas Ventures and Green New World will be launching a YouTube studio-based version of the show.
The Touloupis brothers will interview guests via Zoom, review sustainable products, and discuss the latest green trends going on in the news.
While it is really easy to sit back and talk about the problems, the Touloupis brothers want to start diving into the solutions in order to show their generation and viewers there is hope.
